Capriotti?s began in 1976 by brother and sister duo Lois and Alan Margolet in Wilmington, Delaware. The company became famous for its nightly tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house and hand-shredding them each morning to feature in a variety of fan-favorite subs. They also provides franchise opportunities. As of 2018, the company operates 88 franchises in the United States.
